Kollectiv was approached by a Perth Marketing consultant for a new business brand and logo. All of his clients were from word of mouth, so the branding had to really reflect his personality. Because of this, he wanted something very different to the norm that stood out from the crowd.
The brief
The client had chosen the name Mercenary Marketeer. His brief included wanting it to look like a Country & Western Saloon. He also wanted guns.
We found the guns a little daunting. With this in mind, we decided to make them fun by having his initials popping out on flags. It made the logo less threatening and more playful.
The shapes and fonts reflect that of a Country & Western saloon. We also illustrated them to look like they were carved out of wood. This also suited the style of the gun illustrations.
The experts in vintage logo design
Mercenary Marketeer was a totally original look and feel for a marketing consultant. Other businesses saw the logo and wanted a similar new business brand and logo for their business. This included the work we did for Silverbean Cafe in Enmore. The vintage style was also used for the Baxter & Black logo and branding.
