Perpetual Print Ad

Perpetual wanted an advertisement that was more interactive than normal financial advertising design. The client purchased space in Fairfax publications. With this in mind, they needed something that would relate to Fairfax readers.

Kollectiv has worked on advertising, collateral and events for most major banks. Creating more of an advertorial style ad for Perpetual was an interesting challenge. With this in mind, I knew the demographic was goal-driven. Notably, financially-driven, so we did a ‘bucket-list’ for life. This was to show that if you are financially secure, you can live life to the fullest. Additionally, if would show the wonderful experiences they had had outside of reaching financial goals.

 

We chose six very different images to represent the ideas on the list. Sky-diving, snorkelling, Paris, New York, the Maldives and building a snowman. The list had checkboxes, so the reader to could mark what they had already done. The list would also give ideas of things to do in future. More importantly, realise that earning money is about enjoying the journey, not just the goal.
